“Being an apprentice at Salko UK has really been a thrilling experience the whole way through. I’ve met some fantastic people along the way with great knowledge and experiences which have helped expand my own knowledge”.

“When starting at Salko UK I started as a mechanical fitter, which I enjoyed however I knew it wasn’t the right trade for me so after discussing further with my managers they all gave it the go ahead for me to switch to an Electrical trade. I’ll always remember my first ever outage to Coryton power station, this outage will always be special to me as it was not only my first time on a power station but also the first time I’ve been away from home for a long period of time, you also don’t realise just how much different components go into a power station”.

“Once I switched to electrical, I have worked in many different parts of the industry which I like as it offers me a wider diversity and knowledge span within my job role. I honestly couldn’t thank Salko enough for what they’ve done for me, and I wish I could share all my experiences with everyone”.
