We’re celebrating an exciting new chapter at Salko UK as we initiate a recruitment drive to welcome 120 skilled professionals into our growing workforce. With a record volume of energy contracts on the horizon, we are gearing up for a busy schedule that will support the delivery of power generation through to 2026.
At Salko UK, we take pride in our ability to operate across multiple sites throughout the UK and Ireland. Our dedicated team is set to undertake a wide range of activities within the power generation sector, including planned outages, inspections, upgrades and essential repair works. To ensure we meet the demands of our extensive project portfolio, we actively seek talent across various disciplines, including mechanical, electrical, welding and operational roles.
We are particularly interested in experienced and safety-focused individuals to fill critical positions such as electrical supervisors, mechanical and balance of plant (BOP) supervisors and pipefitters. Candidates with proven expertise in Swagelok systems, small bore pipework and bench-top bending equipment will find many opportunities through this recruitment drive.
Looking ahead to our project portfolio for 2026, we are excited about our upcoming work at major power stations including Dublin Bay, South Humber Bank, Isle of Grain, Enfield, Staythorpe and Great Yarmouth. These projects are scheduled to run from March through to November of next year and we are keen to bolster our teams with skilled professionals who are committed to delivering high standards of workmanship.
Dean Murphy, CEO of Salko UK, said: “We are really excited to be kicking off 2026 with a big recruitment drive to support a diverse range of projects in the energy sector. We are particularly looking for individuals who take pride in delivering high standards of workmanship and working safely within demanding environments.”
